CureWeave

Terms of Service

The rules for using CureWeave — what the service does, what it deliberately does not do, and what each of us is responsible for.

Last updated

Before anything else

CureWeave helps you find healthcare practitioners. It does not give medical advice, diagnose anything, or recommend treatment, and it is not monitored for emergencies.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.

Agreement to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and CureWeave (“we”, “us”) covering your use of CureWeave. By using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

If you are using CureWeave on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these terms for it.

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are welcome to use the service to find care for someone else, including a child in your care.

This is not medical advice

Read this section even if you read nothing else.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, or thinking about harming yourself, stop using this site and call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital now. CureWeave is not monitored for emergencies, and no one here will see your search in time to help.

CureWeave helps you find practitioners. It does not practise medicine. In particular, nothing on this service:

  • Diagnoses a condition, or suggests what condition you might have
  • Recommends a treatment, therapy, medication, or dosage
  • Tells you whether you need care, or how urgently
  • Substitutes for a consultation with a qualified practitioner

Using this service creates no doctor–patient, therapist–client, or any other clinical relationship between you and us. Any such relationship is between you and the practitioner you choose, and it begins when you engage them directly.

How matching works

You describe what you need in ordinary language. We use AI to interpret that sentence into structured criteria — city, budget, language, type of care — and then our own rules select and order the practitioners shown to you.

The AI reads language. It does not decide who you see. We built it this way so that every result can be explained, and so that no ranking depends on a system whose reasoning we cannot inspect.

Results are suggestions based on the criteria we extracted, and nothing more. They are not an endorsement, a referral, or an opinion that a particular practitioner is right for you. The order in which practitioners appear does not mean one is better than another. Deciding whom to approach is your judgement, and we would encourage you to check credentials yourself before engaging anyone.

Practitioner listings and what verification means

Practitioner profiles are written and maintained by the practitioners themselves. We review a profile before it becomes visible, and a profile marked as verified has passed that review.

What our review does and does not establish

Our review is a check that a profile is plausible, complete, and not obviously misleading. It is not a licensing check, a background check, a qualification audit, or a clinical competence assessment. We do not independently confirm every credential a practitioner claims.

Please verify a practitioner’s registration and qualifications with the relevant professional council before engaging them. Do not treat a verified badge on this site as a substitute for that.

Fees, availability and services shown come from the practitioner and can be out of date. Confirm them directly. We take no fee from, and no part in, any arrangement you make with a practitioner — no booking, payment, or scheduling happens through this service.

Using the service responsibly

When you use CureWeave, you agree not to:

  • Send us medical records, test results, prescriptions, or government identity numbers — we do not want them and have no use for them
  • Attempt to make the service produce medical advice, diagnoses, or anything outside provider discovery
  • Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract practitioner listings, or use the service to build a competing directory
  • Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or authentication, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without telling us
  • Impersonate a practitioner, a person, or an organisation, or publish a profile you are not entitled to publish
  • Submit false, misleading, unlawful, or abusive content
  • Use automated tools to access the service, other than well-behaved search crawlers

Practitioners additionally agree to keep their profile accurate, to hold every registration and licence their listed services require, to update or withdraw a listing that stops being accurate, and to handle enquiries from users professionally and confidentially.

We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaks these rules. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you why.

Accounts

You do not need an account to search. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. What happens to your data when you do is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Content and intellectual property

The service itself — its software, design, and text — belongs to CureWeave. These terms give you permission to use it, not ownership of it.

Practitioners keep ownership of the profile content they publish, and grant us the permission needed to display, format and index it so that users can find them. That permission ends when a listing is withdrawn, save for backup copies that expire on their normal cycle.

If you believe content here infringes your rights, write to cureweave@gmail.com with enough detail to identify it, and we will review it.

Availability

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. Where a change is significant and we can give notice in advance, we will. Because this is a discovery service and not a care service, an outage should never leave you without a way to reach a practitioner you have already found.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not a party to your relationship with any practitioner, and we are not responsible for the care, conduct, advice, or outcomes of any practitioner you find through this service. Claims arising from that relationship are between you and them.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, for a free service, will usually be nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Indemnity

If your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you publish causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending it. This is aimed at practitioners publishing content they are not entitled to publish and at deliberate abuse of the service — not at ordinary use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer, you keep any right you have to bring proceedings where you live.
